Job summary

Classic Salads is seeking a Label Operator to join our production team in Yuma, AZ. You will operate the label machine, box coder, and sonic welder, adhering to food safety policies and GMP guidelines.

The role requires manual labor in a cold environment and involves rotating through packing line duties. Responsibilities include maintaining safety, reporting issues, and ability to work overtime or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced production environment is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate label machine, box coder, and sonic welder according to instructions.
• Adhere to Classic Salads GMP and food safety policies.
• Move product and materials manually and forklift if certified.
• Report deficiencies and safety concerns to supervision.
• Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and rotate through packing line.
• Follow FIFO when required and assist with labeling and packaging tasks.
