Job summary

NVE is seeking a Laboratory Ventilation Manager (LVM) to lead the Laboratory Ventilation Management Program at the EPA-RTP Main Campus in Durham, North Carolina. This role requires a strong mechanical engineering background, with responsibilities including program administration, compliance assurance, and coordination of maintenance activities.

The ideal candidate will have significant operating experience with laboratory HVAC systems and a solid understanding of ASHRAE standards. Excellent communication and data management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operating experience with laboratory HVAC, electrical, and control systems.
• In lieu of a degree, 10+ years of relevant operating experience.
• Knowledge of laboratory ventilation design principles and fume hood operation.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Laboratory Ventilation Management Program (LVMP).
• Coordinate maintenance and inspection activities for ventilation.
• Ensure compliance with ASHRAE standards for indoor environmental quality.
