Global Packaging Group is seeking a laboratory technician to operate and maintain test lab equipment in accordance with ISTA and ASTM standards. You will conduct tests, maintain equipment calibration, and generate client reports while coordinating with project teams on specifications and quality standards.

The role requires strong documentation and communication skills, support for design engineers, and the ability to work in a dynamic, hands-on environment with lifting up to 50 pounds and loud

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials and procedures.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate test laboratory equipment per ISTA and ASTM standards.
• 1 Conduct tests according to established protocols.
• 2 Maintain test lab schedule as main point of contact to ensure timely testing.
• 3 Record data and generate reports for customers both internally and externally.
• 4 Calibrate and certify ISTA lab equipment; maintain calibration records.
• 5 Keep work area and equipment in orderly condition for smooth operations.
• 6 Assist project teams in establishing specifications and quality standards.
• 7 Communicate test procedures clearly to customers; provide input to Design Engineers.
• 8 Report project status to relevant personnel; perform related duties as assigned.
