Amazon Leo in Redmond, WA seeks a Lab Engineer to run day-to-day lab operations, support production testing, and manage test fixtures. You will work hands-on with hardware, harnesses, and precision measurement tools, and collaborate with design, test, and production teams to ensure accurate, traceable measurements.

You will develop and maintain test setups for SSL systems, improve instrumentation, and document results while enforcing safety and calibration standards across the lab environment.

Formación

• 1 year or more in hardware development or hands-on engineering environments.
• Experience with measurement devices: torque wrenches, calipers, micrometers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, DAQ.
• Experience developing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Experience troubleshooting and operating Thermal and Vacuum chambers.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, operate, and maintain lab equipment for production and test hardware.
• Define equipment needs with engineers and stakeholders.
• Monitor tests, evaluate behavior, and respond to anomalies.
• Design, build, and modify custom test fixtures and tooling.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot 3D printers.
• Read drawings and schematics to assemble and verify hardware.
• Manage lab resources, inventory, and scheduling.
• Document test setups and results.
• Enforce lab safety and housekeeping standards.
• Provide technical guidance to technicians.
