Job summary

CIVCO Medical Solutions is seeking an Engineering Test Technician to perform tests on electro-mechanical devices and small plastic parts used with ultrasound probes. You will manage test samples, calibrate equipment, develop test fixtures, and document results to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

The role includes lab management responsibilities, calibration activities, and opportunities for progression into leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school with completed classes in laboratory or scientific fields.
• Preferred bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests on electro-mechanical devices and plastic parts following established protocols and document results.
• Record and analyze test results, identify deviations, log and prepare computer test reports.
• Prepare samples for testing according to established protocols and ensure proper safety practices.
• Design and develop test fixtures and automated systems to support testing needs.
• Interpret mechanical drawings and electrical diagrams to guide testing.
• Coordinate lab resources and maintain equipment in good working order.
• Lead or participate in lab process improvements and onboarding of new technicians.
