bioMérieux in Utah is seeking a Lab Technologist to perform a range of laboratory tasks and production processes, including operating HPLCs, DNA synthesizers, LC/MS, liquid handling robots, and UV/Vis spectrometry. The role requires attention to deviation from established practices and adherence to SOPs.
The candidate should have at least 1 year of laboratory experience, a high school diploma, and ideally a BS in Chemistry or related fields.
D Shift: (3/4 X 12) Thurs -Sat and every other Wed, from 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM. The Lab Technologist is responsible for performing a wide variety of laboratory tasks and production processes. This includes operating and troubleshooting HPLCs, DNA Synthesizers, LC/MS, liquid handling robots, and UV/Vis Spectrometry. Works on assignments that are routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.
The estimated wage range for this role based in Utah is between $20.00 - 28.00 This role is eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance per bioMerieux’s bonus program. This range may differ from ranges offered for similar positions elsewhere in the country given differences in cost of living. Actual compensation within this range is determined based on the successful candidate’s experience and will be presented in writing at the time of the offer.
