Naples Comprehensive Health - NCH is seeking a Lab Technologist for Transfusion Services to perform complex blood bank testing, blood typing, antibody screening, and compatibility testing to support safe transfusion practices.
This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field, Florida Technologist license in all five specialty areas, and 2–3 years transfusion/blood bank experience. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

The Lab Technologist – Transfusion Services performs complex clinical laboratory testing in the Blood Bank using both automated and manual methods to support safe and effective transfusion practices. This role is responsible for blood typing, antibody detection and identification, compatibility testing, and preparation and issuance of blood components.
Using independent judgment, the technologist investigates serologic discrepancies, resolves complex immunohematology problems, and ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to function effectively in high-acuity and emergency situations with minimal supervision.
