Job summary

Powers Health laboratory department seeks a qualified professional to perform moderate and highly complex clinical procedures using sophisticated instrumentation to obtain accurate laboratory test results for diagnosis and treatment. You will analyze and document a variety of bacteriologic and chemical diagnostic tests under supervision.

Education required includes a BS/BA in Science or related field, with ASCP/NCA/AMT/NRM certification encouraged.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Science or related field required or preferred.
• Certification with ASCP/NCA/AMT/NRM encouraged.
• Successful completion of CHS Laboratory Fellowship Program is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs all moderate and highly complex clinical procedures utilizing instrumentation to obtain accurate lab results.
• Analyzes and documents bacteriologic and chemical diagnostic tests.
• Duties performed under supervision of Senior Technologist, Lab Supervisor/General Specialist, or Lab Site Director.

Analyzes and documents a variety of bacteriologic, and/or chemical diagnostic laboratory tests. Duties are performed under the supervision of a Senior Technologist, Laboratory Supervisor/General Specialist, or Laboratory Site Director. Education/Experience: BS/BA in Science & related Field. Certification with ASCP/NCA/AMT/NRM encouraged. Successful completion of the CHS Laboratory Fellowship Program.
