Tarpon Specialty Services is actively seeking dedicated and experienced Lab Technicians to join our team, serving the Corpus Christi, TX area.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Lab Technician, you will be crucial in providing accurate and timely analytical results. Your primary duties will include:

  • Operating and maintaining ICP instrumentation for elemental analysis of various samples.
  • Preparing samples according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Performing quality control checks and ensuring the accuracy of data.
  • Troubleshooting equipment and resolving analytical issues.
  • Maintaining detailed and organized records of all analyses and procedures.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and lab best practices.
Qualifications We're Looking For
  • Proven experience working as a Lab Technician or similar role.
  • Strong, hands-on experience with ICP spectrometry is required.
  • Familiarity with laboratory safety procedures and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant degree or certification in a scientific field (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, or equivalent experience) is a plus.
