The Neural Dynamics and Neural Engineering Lab at Virginia Tech, headed by Sujith Vijayan, is seeking a Lab Technician to assist with setting up and managing research projects. Our lab investigates neural dynamics during active behavior and offline states such as sleep, using computational modeling, signal processing, and both invasive and non-invasive neural recording techniques. The insights gained aim to understand memory formation, improve brain-machine interface (BMI) algorithms, and develop therapies for neurological disorders like PTSD and Parkinson's disease. This position is based in Roanoke and Blacksburg. The candidate must have reliable transportation to travel between Virginia Tech's main campus in Blacksburg and the Virginia Tech Carillon Research Institute and Medical School in Roanoke.
This is an hourly position with variable hours.
