You will support QC/QA, validate data, maintain equipment, and contribute to safety programs while gaining hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation in a refinery setting.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience in a Petrochemical / Environmental / Industrial laboratory
• Willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Safety sensitive position with commitment to Incident and Injury Free Operations

Aufgaben

• Provide chemistry information, analytical testing services, instrument troubleshooting and repair, and consulting for labs to support refinery groups.
• Perform tests on refinery process samples and finished products per established procedures.
• Use methods from simple density/viscosity to complex GC, XRF, octane testing, ICP.
• Check results against specifications and ensure accuracy and precision via QC/QA processes.
• Validate data, perform calculations, and report test results.
• Calibrate equipment, review test methods, and perform preventive or corrective maintenance.
• Participate in safety program and document losses and potential losses.
• Support 24/7 testing requirements.
