Job summary

White Cap is seeking a laboratory technician to support testing, validation and development of products. You will work with Product Engineering and Quality to ensure compliance with performance and safety standards, and help drive quality and process improvements.

Responsibilities include preparing samples, conducting tests, documenting results, and maintaining lab records, while following PPE and safety regulations and SOPs.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Familiarity with ISO 17025 methods and certification processes.
• Experience in a A2LA Certified Lab is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in related scientific or engineering discipline or advanced technical certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares test samples and develops testing protocols.
• Conducts tests on finished and prototype products per test methods and QC specs.
• Collaborates with Product Engineering, Quality and cross-functional teams to drive quality and innovation.
• Maintains lab logs, notebooks and QC/R&D records.
• Ensures a clean, safe lab per local and federal guidelines.
