Performs independent research in the field of study. Providestechnical support for research activities. Responsible forsupervising undergraduate students engaged in research.
This position is considered limited-term staff since itutilizes contingent funding, which is currently only securedthrough June 30, 2027. Employment thereafter will be conditionalbased on the continued availability of funding.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of highereducation in the area of study
Required Experience
One (1) year relevant experience doing independent research in areaof study
Preferred Experience
Preferred EducationalQualifications
An advanced degree from an accredited institution of highereducation in a related field
ABILITIES
Able to deal with multiple tasks or projects at one time meetingassigned deadlines
KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of scientific principles, laboratory safety practices, laboratory terminology, equipment, materials, and procedures and laboratory methods relating to field of study
SKILLS
