WACKER is hiring a Lab Technician for the Calvert City, KY site. The role provides routine analytical support, instrument calibration, and data handling per written procedures. You will contribute to safety, health, and quality improvements while supporting plant operations.

Required are a B.S. in chemistry or related field and at least one year of industrial lab experience. Proficiency with analytical instruments and strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in chemistry or related field.
• One year of industrial laboratory experience.
• Ability to comprehend and execute detailed procedures for wet chemistry methods and complex instruments.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine analytical and physical tests of materials and samples.
• Perform instrument calibration, maintenance, and standardization.
• Enter and report results using SAP or similar systems.
• Support safety, health, environmental, and quality initiatives.
• Balance workload to meet internal customer requirements.
