Job summary

Pace Labs is seeking a Physical Properties Technician to support the Scientific Insourcing Solutions division. You will prepare and test samples, and assist with lab maintenance, contributing to the safety and quality of our adhesive products.

The role requires 1 year of chemistry or physical properties lab experience, proficiency with measurement tools and Excel, and strong communication and organizational skills. Some lifting up to 40 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• 1 year of chemistry or physical properties lab experience.
• Experience with precision measurement tools and electronic equipment.
• Experience with creation and maintenance of Excel spreadsheets.
• Excellent communication, organization and task management skills.
• Able to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory test samples.
• Laboratory testing of mechanical, physical, and/or chemical properties of adhesives, polymers, and related products.
• Document and report results in writing and verbally.
• Routine equipment maintenance.
• Perform routine lab duties such as shipping, storing, and organizing samples.
