Job summary

Pace Analytical Services LLC is hiring a Physical Properties Technician for the Scientific Insourcing Solutions division. You’ll prepare test samples and conduct routine equipment maintenance, testing solids, papers, tapes, and films for properties such as tensile strength and viscosity.

The role requires a science degree (Chemistry or Physics preferred), lab experience with precision tools and Excel, and excellent communication and organizational skills to support accurate data delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science field, Chemistry and Physics preferred.
• Experience in a lab using precision measurement tools and electronic equipment.
• Experience with creation and maintenance of Excel spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Preparing test samples.
• Routine equipment maintenance.
• Testing properties of solids, paper, tape, and film products such as tensile & shear strength, bond strength, mechanical properties, density and viscosity tests.
