Job summary

Church & Dwight Co., Inc. in the United States seeks a Laboratory Analyst to perform raw material and finished product testing. You will ensure vendor COAs, support manufacturing lines, and maintain lab equipment in a GMP environment.

Responsibilities include reviewing analyses, preparing solutions, quarantining non-conforming materials, and assisting with plant validations and stability testing. Strong English communication and meticulous attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a science field.
  • Able to communicate, read and write English.
  • Attention to details and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform raw material analysis according to current specifications and SOPs.
  • Assure each raw material has a vendor Certificate of Analysis.
  • Perform bulk analysis testing and supply bulk approvals for filling lines.
  • Perform finished product testing according to current specifications and SOPs.
  • Review notebooks and analysis reports of other analysts.
  • Maintain/standardize laboratory equipment per SOPs.
  • Prepare/standardize laboratory solutions per SOPs.
  • Quarantine materials that do not meet specifications.
  • Provide analytical testing for plant validations.
  • Provide analytical testing to support finished product expiration (stability).
  • Provide analytical testing in support of R&D plant test requests.
  • Follow GMPs, SOPs and Job Safety Analysis in all areas.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and wear PPE.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Perform raw material analysis according to current specifications and SOP’s.
  • Assure each raw material has a vendor Certificate of Analysis.
  • Performs bulk analysis testing according to current specifications and SOP’s and supplies bulk approvals for filling lines
  • Perform finished product testing according to current specifications and SOP’s
  • Perform review of other analyst’s notebooks and analysis reports
  • Maintain/standardize laboratory equipment according to current SOP’s
  • Prepare/standardize laboratory solutions according to current SOP’s
  • Quarantine raw materials, bulk products or finished products that do not meet current specifications
  • Provide analytical testing for Plant validations
  • Provide analytical testing to support finished product expiration (stability)
  • Provide analytical testing in support of R & D Plant Test requests
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures and Job Safety Analysis in all areas of the job
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Work Experience required:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $57,000-$85,600. This position is also eligible for a bonus.

U.S. employees are entitled to paid holidays, floating holidays, and vacation days starting in their first year of employment depending on hire date. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay parity. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
