Job summary

Hyalex Orthopaedics, Inc. in Lexington, MA, is seeking a Lab Technician to join a hands-on manufacturing team.

You will prepare chemical buffers, set up and dismantle reactor systems, and assemble implant constructs while maintaining ISO 13485 documentation in a dynamic R&D and cleanroom setting. The role requires a technical/scientific degree with 0–2 years of relevant experience (or equivalent) and medical device manufacturing exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Associate/High School+ manufacturing experience in technical/chemical, mechanical fields.
• Medical device/pharma manufacturing experience in cleanroom is a plus.
• Familiar with chemical processing, sterile handling, and measurement equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication; adherence to ISO 13485 and cGMP is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and work instructions to manufacture and test chemical mixtures and assemblies.
• Maintain QMS and cGMP compliance in daily tasks.
• Interpret process docs, drawings, and inspection criteria accurately.
• Maintain safety PPE usage and proper chemical waste handling.
• Record data in spreadsheets/databases with accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering on experiments and investigations.
