Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in North Royalton, OH is seeking a Lab Technician to operate in a highly structured laboratory environment, adhering to SOPs, safety protocols and ISO 9001:2008 directives.

You will record data, troubleshoot instrumentation, and ensure timely throughput in the lab work queue. The role requires an Associate degree in a technical field, and proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in a technical field is required at minimum.
• Preferred experience in laboratory or operations within a production plant environment, especially in quality assurance related functions.
• Demonstrated ability to support the department towards defined production and quality goals as well as an accelerated continuous improvement program.
• Computer literacy and Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate analytical instrumentation such as ICP-MS, GC’s, FTIR, and standard blenders.
• Accurately record and document analytical data in process logs.
• Report instrumentation issues and assist in troubleshooting and minor repair activities as needed.
• Ensure timely throughput of products through the lab work queue and follow SOPs and ISO 9001:2008 directives.
• Adhere to calibration, documentation and safety requirements.
