Job summary

Ascension Saint Alexius - Hoffman Estates is seeking a lab professional responsible for specimen processing and the analysis, evaluation and reporting of waived and moderately complex laboratory test results to ensure accurate data and timely reporting.

Required is a high school diploma or equivalent, with 12 to 18 months of related experience preferred and a background in medical terminology or lab work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Twelve to eighteen months of related experience is preferred.
• Background in medical laboratory and/or knowledge of medical terminology is required.

Responsibilities

• Specimen processing and the analysis, evaluation and reporting of waived and moderately complex laboratory test results, in accordance with established departmental procedures and professional standards, to provide appropriate specimens and accurate data in a timely manner.
