Qualifications

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (if no prior lab experience).
  • Dependable and punctual.
  • Strong understanding of proper laboratory testing techniques and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and log samples from internal customers.
  • Perform data entry and use LIMS systems to track sample workflow.
  • Conduct routine chemical and physical analyses under general supervision.
  • Independently perform mechanical and wet chemical testing, including sample preparation.
  • Assist technical personnel with compiling, analyzing, and interpreting results for internal and external customers.
  • Work on assigned special projects as needed.
  • Operate analytical instruments.

Skills

Proficient PC skills; ability to create spreadsheets and reports
Knowledge of advanced laboratory equipment and LIMS systems
High attention to detail and diligence
Strong teamwork and communication skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry
