The Hsieh Lab in the Division of Human Biology at Fred Hutch is looking for a highly motivated temporary Laboratory Technician I, who is interested in studying how the way cells make proteins or protein synthesis control ultimately determine specific behaviors that can lead to and potentiate cancer. Our work will include mechanistic studies in cell lines, mouse models, and human tissue samples with the ultimate goal of learning how to target and drug the protein synthesis machinery. The individual will be responsible for performing investigative lab work at the bench alongside Dr. Hsieh, postdoctoral fellows and existing Research Technicians. The ability to work in a team will be essential.

The hourly pay range for this position is from $21.78 to $31.01 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
