Job summary

Pride Health is partnering with a pharmaceutical and plasmapheresis company near Knoxville, TN to hire a Lab Technician. The role offers a pay rate of $21-$25/hr with 2nd and 3rd shifts available.

The position requires an associate degree in a laboratory science or medical technology; Bachelor’s preferred, and Tennessee MLT/MT licensure is favorable but not required. Overtime and safety protocols are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• MLT or MT licensure in Tennessee preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and troubleshoot laboratory testing, including donor suitability and other required assays.
• Conduct routine manual and automated testing; analyze results against established controls.
• Complete QC, maintenance, calibration, and documentation per SOPs and cGMP/regulatory standards.
• Operate laboratory instruments and equipment; troubleshoot issues and report unresolved problems.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and a clean, safe work environment.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and support laboratory operations.
• Follow all EHS and safety requirements, including proper PPE use.
• Support cross-training and perform other assigned duties.
