HB Fuller is seeking a Lab Technician I in Michigan Center, MI on a 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm) with occasional overtime. The role supports technical service and application development by safely conducting tests and experiments, generating accurate data, and maintaining readiness to meet project timelines.
The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of laboratory, production, or R&D experience, with OSHA/PPE compliance and strong recordkeeping.

The Laboratory Technician supports technical service and application development by safely conducting tests and experiments. This role works with general supervision to generate accurate data, maintain laboratory readiness, and support project timelines.
Follow all company, site, and laboratory safety requirements and report hazards promptly
Conduct experiments, testing, and analyses according to approved procedures
Compile, analyze, and document test and experiment results
Support technical service, application development, QC, and R&D projects
Maintain calibrated, operational laboratory equipment and tools
Ensure material identification, lot traceability, and accurate recordkeeping
Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned lab areas
Communicate project status, issues, and results in a timely manner
High school diploma or GED
At least 1 year of experience in a laboratory, production, or R&D environment
Ability to follow written procedures, maintain detailed records, and meet safety standards
Ability to perform light to moderate physical tasks and wear required PPE
Authorization to work in the United States
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
Coursework or experience in chemistry and/or mathematics
Experience with routine equipment calibration
Exposure to technical service or R&D laboratory work
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $18.95 per hour and up based on experience.
