The position requires documenting results in SharePoint and Great Plains, monitoring bath quality, and ensuring compliance with standards. You will contribute to Lean 5S initiatives and support inventory management at your workstation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical or physical laboratory tests to meet quality and production requirements.

• Monitor bath quality to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
• Compile and interpret results of tests to adjust chemical composition.
• Perform tank maintenance tasks (tank changes, filter maintenance, wastewater treatment).
• Communicate clearly in a cross-functional team setting.
• Conduct quality compliance testing daily to minimize nonconforming parts.
• Support Lean 5S initiatives to reduce waste and improve productivity.
• Manage inventory chemicals and supplies at workstation.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Safely handle chemicals
• Use SharePoint and Great Plains (GP) software to maintain a structured documentation/records system
• Monitor bath quality to ensure compliance with standards and specifications
• Compile and interpret results of tests and analyses to adjust chemical composition
• Perform tank maintenance tasks concurrently (tank change outs, filter maintenance, wastewater treatment)
• Communicate clearly and effectively in a cross-functional team setting
• Conduct quality compliance testing daily to minimize nonconforming parts
• Support Lean 5S initiatives to achieve a workplace that is clean, uncluttered, safe, and well organized to help reduce waste and optimize productivity
• Manage inventory chemicals and supplies at your workstation
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder
• Must pass all pre and post hire background checks
• Must pass preemployment and subsequent drug screenings
• Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language
• Advanced use of math skills (addition, subtraction, fraction, decimals, multiplication and division)
• Must be 18 years of age
• Maintain Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives “Employee Possessor” eligibility
• Must have minimum of 1 semester college level physical science and math and/or 2 years Chemistry Lab work experience.
• Must be able to work in an environment containing devices that may interfere with the operation of a pacemaker
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test within 30 days
• Ability to obtain confined space certification within 30 days of employment
• Ability to obtain forklift operator certification via Valor’s within 60 days of employment

Physical Requirements
