Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking a Laboratory Technician in Winston-Salem, NC. You will perform sample preparation for testing, operate basic lab equipment, and document results to ensure accuracy and compliance.

The role requires wet lab experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Wet lab experience in a laboratory setting.
• Experience making solutions and weighing materials.
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Detail-oriented with ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• At least 1 year related lab or quality control experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for testing by weighing.
• Perform tobacco product sample preparation using wet chemistry; support analytical chemists.
• Operate simple lab equipment.
• Document results in notebooks and LIMS with good documentation practices.
• Perform instrument calibration and identify errors.
• Adhere to quality standards and quality system requirements.
• Communicate effectively with client staff and co-workers.

Job Description

Laboratory Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following

• Perform preparation of samples for testing by weighing, for example
• Performs sample preparation on tobacco products using wet chemistry techniques; provides support to analytical chemists
• Operates simple lab equipment
• Accurately documents results in notebooks and laboratory LIMS, in compliance with good documentation practices
• Performs instrument calibration and recognizes errorsli>
• Adheres to highest quality standards; ensures compliance with quality system requirements
• Communicates effectively with client staff members and co-workers

Qualifications

• High School Diploma minimum is required
• Wet lab experience
• Making solutions, weighing, following work instructions
• Laboratory experience
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written)
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
• At least one year related laboratory or quality control experience; familiarity with standard lab concepts, practices, and procedures

• Position is Monday- Friday 8:00 AM- 5:00PM. Overtime as needed.
