Job summary

Atinary Technologies in Boston, United States, is seeking a Lab Technician to support the continued operation of our Self-Driving Labs platform. You will prepare reagents, load samples, and run automated synthesis workflows for small molecule chemistry, while verifying outcomes with NMR and LCMS data.

You will maintain automated platforms, manage routine maintenance and inventory, and ensure strict safety and compliance. Excellent English communication and hands-on lab experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related scientific field.
• Hands-on lab experience: demonstrated background in synthetic organic chemistry labs with routine sample prep, handling reagents, and setting up reaction procedures for small molecules (1–3 years).
• Analytical aptitude: ability to read and process 1H/13C NMR spectra and LCMS data to verify outcomes and purity.
• System operations & maintenance: prepare reagents, execute routines, perform cleanup on analytical tools.
• Safety & compliance: knowledge of lab safety standards, hazardous material handling, waste disposal, PPE compliance.
• Communication: excellent-English communication for collaboration across science and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reagents, load samples, and run automated synthesis workflows for small molecule chemistry.
• Verify reaction outcomes by processing NMR and LCMS data.
• Maintain automated platforms: routine maintenance, solvent refills, waste management.
• Order chemicals and lab supplies and manage chemical inventory.
• Perform system calibrations, troubleshoot liquid handling units, and uphold safety standards.
