Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a QA Lab Technician to conduct routine and non-routine testing of shelf-stable products and ingredients, ensuring compliance with specifications and procedures. The role includes line audits for GMP, recording results, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Shift hours are 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday through Friday with possible weekend demand. High school diploma or GED required; lab or food science experience preferred; strong reading and

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and non-routine testing of shelf-stable products and ingredients.
• Conduct finished product audits according to current procedure.
• Insuring Broken Jar pallets are fixed in a timely manner.
• Reading and signing lab procedures on Annual Basis.
• Conduct line audit for GMP compliance.
• Communication of out-of-specification products to operations supervisor on duty.
• Recording accurate results for tests completed on correct forms.
• Cleanup and organization of work area.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities:-

Conduct routine and non-routine testing of shelf stable Acidified, High Acid, and Retorted product for compliance to specifications according to current procedure.- Conduct finished product audits in accordance to current procedure.- Insuring Broken Jar pallets are fixed in a timely manner.- Reading and signing lab procedures on Annual Basis.- Conduct line audit for GMP compliance.- Communication of out-of-specification products to operations supervisor on duty.- Recording accurate results for tests completed on correct forms.- Cleanup and organization of work area.- Other tasks as assigned.

Shift Hours 4:00AM - 12:00PM - Monday - Friday --Some Weekends may be required based on demand
