Central Ozarks Medical Center in Camdenton, MO is expanding its team to hire a Laboratory Technician who will render professional health care to patients under supervision. The role involves handling blood sample collection and specimen labeling, and assisting in lab and radiology area maintenance.

The technician will manage laboratory inventory, prepare requisitions, and ensure accurate documentation, while upholding HIPAA and 340B compliance in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable using computer hardware and software and computerized equipment.
• Motivated to serve the needs of patients and Central Ozarks Medical Center.
• CPR/BLS certification or certification during probationary period and maintenance of certification.
• Reading and verbal skills to understand and communicate about medical records and laboratory procedures.
• GED or High School diploma; Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Render professional quality health care to patients under the clinic provider’s supervision.
• Will collect and prepare blood samples for inspection.
• Assist in maintaining the laboratory and radiology areas in proper condition.
• Maintain an inventory of laboratory equipment and supplies and prepare purchase requisitions.
• Assist in recording information, collecting specimens, labeling specimens for identification.
