Job summary

CBL Solutions is seeking an automotive hardware testing/lab technician in Auburn Hills, MI. This role requires hands-on work with hardware prototypes, including assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair processes.

The ideal candidate has strong soldering skills, PCBA inspection/rework experience, and can read electrical schematics. Familiarity with IPC-A-610, ISO/TS/IATF16949 processes, and ESD-safe environments is preferred.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in automotive hardware testing/lab technician roles.
  • Experience with assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of hardware prototypes.
  • Strong soldering and PCBA inspection/rework experience.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics.
  • Experience with PCB bring-up, debugging, and rework documentation.
  • Knowledge of IPC-A-610.
  • Experience working in an ESD-safe environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO 16949/IATF 16949 processes.
