Job summary

INEOS Nitriles at Green Lake Facility, Port Lavaca, TX, is seeking a Lab Technician/Analyst to perform product and process analysis and provide technical support across operations. The role emphasizes safe conduct, data integrity, and timely reporting of results.

Responsibilities include sampling, performing qualitative and quantitative analyses (GC, HPLC, UV, pH), maintaining instruments, and coordinating lab samples.

Qualifications

• Minimum GED or High School diploma.
• At least 1 year of experience in a chemical laboratory and/or advanced science education.

Responsibilities

• Work rotating 12-hour shifts in Lab Operations, including weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
• Execute lab tasks safely and efficiently per INEOS 20 Principles and Culture of Prevention.
• Train and qualify for all lab jobs; perform sampling, result communication and solution preparation.
• Maintain calibration, QA, and documentation of laboratory instrumentation and environment.
• Coordinate shipping of lab samples and ensure compliance with procedures and safety regulations.
• Record results, perform manual calculations, use LIMS, and report abnormal conditions to supervision.
