Pratt & Whitney in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Lab Technician to support our Air Traffic Solutions (ATS) team in developing the STARS system and supporting fielded systems. You will work with lab managers, engineers, and program office to maintain labs, manage inventory, and install/configure equipment, ensuring compliance and readiness for audits.

You will also participate in configuring network devices, supporting software tests, and preparing labs for audits, while fostering collaboration

Our Connected Aviation group is thrilled to offer a Lab Technician role within our Air Traffic Solutions (ATS) team in Marlborough, MA. As part of the ATS team, you'll be instrumental in developing the next generation of the Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS) and supporting our existing fielded systems. What You Will Do

• Assist in the efficient operation and management of all associated ATS Labs.
• Work closely with Lab manager, Program Office, Property Control, and engineering teams to ensure seamless lab operations, compliance with regulations, and continuous improvement of lab procedures.
• Provide ongoing lab support, including cleaning and vacuuming labs for audits and assisting with installations.
• Replace equipment, implement SSBs, build and configure hardware racks, update inventory, install patch panels, and mentor team members on network configurations and lab procedures.
• Set up and configure various network devices, support software tests, and prepare labs for audits.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in a lab environment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience with lab equipment and maintenance.
• Knowledge of compliance and quality assurance standards.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage inventory and track lab materials.
• Familiarity with network configurations and lab procedures.
• Able to lift 25 lbs.
• Must be able to communicate with vendors and STARS/ATS site personnel with little direction.

Salary range: 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD.
