Job summary

Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing North America in Portage, MI is seeking a full-time laboratory technician to perform various tasks, including sample preparation, inventory assistance, and maintaining laboratory equipment. The position is second shift, Monday to Thursday, from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Job Description

• Perform miscellaneous tasks throughout the lab, including cleaning, ordering, discarding of solutions, organizing supplies, and retrieving and returning samples from sample storage.
• Learn to perform monthly maintenance on both laboratory equipment.
• Prepare samples for analysis and monitor some instrumentation with minimum supervision, including cleaning and storing instrumentation appropriate after use.
• Assist with inventory process within the group.
• Perform a variety of organizational tasks to aid in the everyday functionality of the laboratory.
• Perform laboratory cleaning responsibilities of equipment and controlled rooms.
• Work efficiently, document work clearly, and perform responsibilities accurately.
• Special projects as necessary or directed.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
