You set up, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot reagent components and instruments, and perform solution testing such as pH, conductivity, and density to ensure all products meet strict production and process specifications. The position also involves raw material testing using techniques such as HPLC and ICP, as well as troubleshooting laboratory equipment while working within regulated manufacturing standards.

Responsibilities
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other written and verbal specifications throughout the manufacturing process while maintaining compliance with FDA requirements.

  • Independently execute work related to formulating, filling, testing, and packaging reagent products.

  • Apply analytical skills and scientific methods to perform daily laboratory tasks with accuracy and consistency.

  • Perform set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of reagent components, instruments, and related equipment.

  • Conduct testing on solutions, including pH, conductivity, and density measurements, to ensure adherence to production and process specifications.

  • Assure compliance with FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and applicable regulatory requirements throughout all manufacturing activities.

  • Carry out raw material testing utilizing HPLC and ICP to verify quality and suitability for use in production.

  • Familiarity with reagent preparation, buffer formulation, and calibrator manufacturing processes.

  • Hands‑on experience with HPLC and ICP for raw material or product testing.

  • Comfort with computer‑based work, including data entry and basic data analysis to verify that specifications are met.

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills applied to scientific and technical tasks.

  • Effective communication skills to interpret written and verbal instructions and collaborate with laboratory colleagues.

  • Ability to work reliably on an early‑day schedule and coordinate with cross‑shift team members.
