Ecobat Resources is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform tests on solids, liquids, and gases to support process and quality control. You will operate spectrometers, pH meters, balances, and other lab instruments, while recording results in the SAP system and following safety guidelines.
The role emphasizes independent work, attention to detail, and collaboration with environmental and quality teams to meet standards. Training will cover equipment use, safety, and ISO/EMS procedures.
Performs laboratory tests to determine the chemical and/or physical characteristics of solid, liquid, or gaseous materials for purposes of process, quality, and environmental control by performing the duties listed below.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of his job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock. The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment.
