Job summary

Pace Labs is seeking a Lab Technician in our Organic Prep Lab in Mansfield, MA to support sample preparation and lab operations. You'll receive training and join a team committed to environmental science and public health.

You'll preserve and prepare samples, document workflows, and contribute to a safe, compliant lab environment while advancing your career in a vital scientific field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred in a STEM field; chemistry credit hours with labs preferred as well.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves — all provided by Pace).
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.
