Job summary

Pace is seeking a Lab Technician to join our environmental testing team in Minnesota. You’ll support sample preparation, documentation, and basic lab operations in a safe, compliant environment.

With a high school diploma and willingness to work in a lab setting, you’ll grow your laboratory career while gaining hands-on experience in a state-of-the-art facility. Regular daytime hours Monday–Friday, with comprehensive benefits and training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting and wear PPE while handling samples.

Responsibilities

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.

Lab Technician

Compensation: $20.00 per hour

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

The salary for this position reflects a variety of factors. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills, and alignment with internal equity. Market conditions, budgetary considerations, and organizational compensation guidelines may also influence the final offer.

What You’ll Do

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves — all provided by Pace®).
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.
