Job summary

Pace Analytical Services, LLC is seeking a Lab Technician to join our environmental testing laboratory. This role supports sample-related activities, performs preservation and preparation, and helps maintain critical documentation.

Training will be provided to build a strong laboratory sciences career within Pace. We offer a Sunday through Thursday schedule (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM) with a starting compensation of $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a lab or environmental testing setting preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting and wear PPE as provided.

Responsibilities

• Support laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
• Maintain and update documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on lab support policies and practices.

What You'll Do

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves - all provided by Pace).
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.
