Job Title: Lab Technician
Job Description

We are seeking an Analytical Laboratory Technician to support research and development, application engineering, and quality control activities in a laboratory environment. This role is ideal for candidates with hands‑on laboratory experience, strong attention to detail, and aEdxperience in chemistry, microbiology, or related scientific disciplines.

Responsibilities
  • Perform chemical, biological, physical, and mechanical testing on products and materials.
  • Support research, development, application engineering, and quality control initiatives.
  • Compile, analyze, interpret, and document laboratory test results.
  • Follow established laboratory procedures, testing methods, and safety protocols.
  • Troubleshoot testing issues and assist with resolving technical challenges.
  • Maintain accurate records of experiments, observations, and findings.
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment while managing assigned tasks independently.
  • Support product evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Skills
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related scientific field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a laboratory, quality control, or technical environment.
  • Strong understanding of scientific principles and laboratory practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
  • Knowledge of chemical handling and laboratory safety procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Hands‑on experience with analytical instrumentation such as SEM, EDS, or TOC analyzers.
  • Experience in chemistry, microbiology, water testing, environmental testing, or filtration technologies.
  • Experience supporting product development, quality systems, or research activities.
  • Familiarity with industrial filtration or water treatment processes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Meriden, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $33.00/hr.
