Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Lab Technician for our New Berlin, WI site to perform chemistry-based analytical testing on oil products, including viscosity, air release, color analysis, FTIR, ICP, and related methods. The role also covers raw material and batch testing on a daily basis.

You will carry out wet chemistry, titrations, quality control testing, and ensure documentation is accurate for materials, batches, and laboratory analyses.

Qualifications

  • Perform chemistry-based analytical testing on oil products, including viscosity, air release, color analysis, FTIR, ICP, and related methods.

Responsibilities

  • Perform chemistry-based analytical testing on oil products, including viscosity, air release, color analysis, FTIR, ICP, and other related methods.
  • Conduct raw material testing and batch testing, including pre-batch, in-process, and final batch testing on a daily basis.
  • Carry out wet chemistry procedures and titrations as part of routine laboratory analysis.
  • Execute quality control testing for raw materials and production batches to ensure products meet established specifications.
  • Complete all required quality paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly for raw materials, batch work, and laboratory analyses.
  • Maintain and organize laboratory records to support quality work, ISO compliance, and audit requirements.
  • Perform calibrations on laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
  • Sanitize and maintain all laboratory areas to uphold cleanliness, safety, and good laboratory practices.
  • Assist with ISO audits as needed, providing documentation, test data, and process information to auditors.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $54080.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
