Job summary

Wasatch Labs in Utah is seeking a detail-oriented laboratory assistant to support benchtop production of cosmetic products, prepare materials, and maintain digital batch records. You will assist with sampling for customers and document revisions in batch records.

No advanced degree required; 0–2 years of lab experience acceptable. You will learn basic lab equipment handling, stock organization, and material requests while upholding safety and accuracy in a moderate-noise environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0-2 years of work experience preferred.
  • Prior laboratory experience preferred.
  • Understanding of basic laboratory equipment required.

Responsibilities

  • Make benchtop batches of cosmetic products.
  • Prepare raw materials and batching materials.
  • Take product specifications and prepare samples for customers.
  • Request raw materials as needed and organize stock room.
  • Maintain laboratory and batch records; ensure accuracy.

Skills

0-2 years experience
Prior laboratory experience

JOB SUMMARY

Makes benchtop batches of a wide array of cosmetic products to sample to customers, test for stability, or to evaluate the raw materials. Evaluates batches and makes revisions on digital batch records. Does various tasks for laboratory maintenance as needed.
