Job summary

Home Land Labs in Towson is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our mold and water divisions at the only AIHA-certified mold analysis lab in the Baltimore area. You will analyze samples, manage data in LIMS, and ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.

The ideal candidate has a biology/chemistry/environmental science background, lab experience, and strong communication skills. On-site position with structured training in mold collection, water chemistry, and AIHA protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing) in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or Environmental Health.
• Previous lab experience in environmental chemistry preferred.
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with lab safety protocols and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze mold and water samples following SOP, Quality, and Safety Manuals.
• Input data and generate reports using our Lab Information Management System (LIMS).
• Perform daily/monthly quality assurance checks.
• Prepare, retain, and dispose of samples properly.
• Communicate results and findings to clients.
