Posting Summary | Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Lab Technician within the Radiation Cancer Biology Department at the Rutgers Cancer Institute. The Lab Technician will be responsible for conducting and executing research experiments following the instructions given by the laboratory team. Rutgers Cancer Institute leverages numerous experimental approaches including single-cell genomics by next-generation sequencing, in situ single-cell analyses of DNA and RNA by Fluorescent in situ Hybridization (FISH), and CRISPR gene editing to induce genomic instability and study its consequences on tumor transformation and therapy response. In this role, the Lab Technician will support the research of Principal Investigators and senior members of the laboratory. Additionally, the Lab Technician will assist in designing and executing experiments, preparing submission and publication materials, and learning appropriate scientific methods and procedures.
