Job description

Apex Systems is looking for multiple entry-level Lab Technicians to join one of our clients in the greater St. Louis, MO area. If you are interested in developing your laboratory skills and experience in an exciting and environment, please email a copy of your resume to Sam Wade at [e-mail].

Compensation: $25/hr with overtime consideration when/if applicable

Schedule: M-F normal business hours

Responsibilities

• Executing the innovation process.
• Supporting new product development through design and production of prototypes as well as lead process improvement efforts within that area.
• Assist project managers with new product development projects.
• Assist in managing sample production/benchtop samples in a fast-paced environment.
• Apply knowledge to monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, and/or improve processes.
• Analyze samples using basic lab instrumentation.
• Maintain sample/ingredient inventories and SOPs.
• Promote and encourage safe working practices.
• Gain exposure to senior leaders including formal presentation of projects.
• Assisting with long term growth and sustainability of the lab.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in engineering, science, or related discipline.
• Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation.
• Technical and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership skills, comfort level with change, and the ability to lead change.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays.
