Job Summary

The University of South Carolina is seeking a Research Specialist II (Lab Technician) to work at the CAS Belle W. Baruch Institute for Marine and Coastal Sciences. The job tasks include daily maintenance of fish tank displays & lab equipment, assisting faculty & students with setup of living streams, ordering lab supplies as needed, organizing/cleaning lab space, monitoring seawater usage & working with BMFL staff to arrange deliveries, and recording MCAL use & coordinating billing with BMFL office staff.

Qualifications: Salt water aquarium experience.

Work Schedule: Part-time, 5 hours per week, with a varied schedule that requires flexibility to meet the needs of the department.

Salary: $20.00/hr
