Description:

Responsible for receiving, processing, distributing, and preparing patient specimens, including sending specimens to reference laboratories for testing. Also responsible for providing excellent customer service and teamwork, troubleshooting issues, and distributing lab sendout reports via manual or electronic fax. Estimated pay range for this position is $16.04 - $20.85 / hour depending on experience.

Qualifications:

Degrees:

  • High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Customer service experience, knowledge of laboratory terminology, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
  • Two years of specimen processing and/or reference lab experience, bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
