Job Summary: | iC42 Toxicology Lab combines quantitative mass spectrometry (drugs, drug metabolites, endogenous compounds and large molecules), metabolomics (LC-MS, GC-MS and magnetic resonance spectroscopy-based) and proteomics under one roof which makes it a very unique facility. iC42 Toxicology is compliant with the rules of good laboratory practice (cGLP, 21 CFR part 58), is accredited by the College of American Pathologists and CLIA certified. Accordingly, all assays are validated and all analyses are carried out following our standard operating procedures, which are based on all applicable CAP, CLSI, ICH, OECD and FDA guidelines. Nature of Work: Lab Personnel are responsible for receiving, preparation and analysis of human biospecimen samples for patient drug testing for clinics, such as the Addiction Research Treatment Services Clinic. These samples must be processed and validated within a 24-48 hour timeframe. The only patient information they have access to are the patient name, date of birth, sex, diagnostic code, and test results. Key Responsibilities:

Anticipated Pay Range: | The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as Laboratory Technician I: $49,972 - $57,682 Laboratory Technician II: $52,212 - $60,564 The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
