BRCC is seeking a laboratory technician to perform specimen analysis, phlebotomy, and routine instrument maintenance in a clinical lab setting. You will follow quality control, safety policies, and assist with patient flow as needed.

Responsibilities include processing in-house and reference tests, documenting results, and maintaining equipment. A strong emphasis on accuracy, records, and regulatory compliance under CLIA and OSHA guidelines is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or related field.
• Current state license if required.
• AMT, ASCP or equivalent certification preferred but not required.
• Position is entry level and requires no experience.

Responsabilités

• Assists with phlebotomy and specimen collection as ordered.
• Performs specimen analysis of Chemistry, Hematology, and Immunology tests.
• Maintains and operates laboratory equipment and performs instrument maintenance.
• Records results and ensures proper documentation and QC activities.
• Adheres to OSHA and CLIA policies and processes send-out testing as needed.
• Ensures a clean, safe working environment and accurate patient results.
