Job summary

Acuren is seeking a Lab Tech II to support operations in Cincinnati, OH. The role involves performing mechanical testing and sample analysis, utilizing tensile and compression frames, OES, and microscopes to ensure data accuracy.

The Laboratory Technician II will independently execute a variety of tests under moderate supervision, maintain detailed records, and assist in troubleshooting or method refinement.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical testing, including tensile and compression tests.
• Ability to prepare and analyze samples and operate lab instruments.
• Solid technical knowledge, attention to detail, and safety/compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical tests including tensile and compression tests with appropriate setups.
• Operate specialized laboratory instruments and troubleshoot when needed.
• Maintain detailed records of tests, data, and observations ensuring accuracy and traceability.
• Assist in training junior staff and supporting method refinements.
