The Valley Hospital in Paramus, NJ, seeks a Medical Technology student to independently perform and report laboratory findings in accordance with department policies and applicable regulations.

To independently perform and report laboratory findings in accordance with policies and procedures of The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, FDA, CAP, AABB, OSHA, CLIA and JCAHO regulations to facilitate quality patient care Education Medical technology student currently enrolled in a hospital/university medical technology program. Experience No previous experience required.
Consistent with New Jersey Department of Health technical personnel qualifications, i.e. CLIA. Must be able to perform work accurately with attention to detail within specified time periods. Ability to work cooperatively with members of the healthcare delivery team and staff. Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule. Ability to set priorities, solve problems, and respond quickly to emergency requests. Ability to communicate effectively (orally and in writing) and assist in meeting the patient's needs.

Pay Range: $25.37 - $31.71 (per hour)
